The South Walton Area is nationally recognized for its breathtaking beaches, history, and culture. As with most places on the coast, the beaches really tend to steal the show for tourists coming from landlocked states. In continuation from our recent article, The Beautiful Beaches of South Walton, we will now bring a couple more delightful beaches to your attention!

Dune Allen Beach

Bordering Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Dune Allen Beach is an excellent choice for those wishing to enjoy the coast with a bit more privacy. This is because Dune Allen Beach tends to be much less crowded than some of the better-known beaches in South Walton. There are three public beach accesses available at Dune Allen, with the main one offering full restroom accommodations and a beach walkover for easy access to the sand.

WaterColor Beach

This beach, a part of the WaterColor community, is well-known for its stark white sands and crystal clear waters. The nearby WaterColor Inn, featuring 60 rentable rooms, offers all of the beach services you may require to ensure you are getting the most out of your stay. Beach bonfires are seasonally available, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas. Once you are done having fun in the sun, we recommend exploring the nearby communities of WaterColor and Seaside!

Seaside Beach

The uniquely alluring design of Seaside makes the beach almost an afterthought. The quaint architecture of the small community features narrow cobblestone streets, cottages, and nine unique beach pavilions. Many visitors fall in love with the cultural blend of architecture and pastel-colored buildings. Whether you are out on the crystal white sands or relaxing outside one of the beautiful storefronts, you may have trouble deciding if you are dreaming or actually living real life!

There may seem like so many amazing beaches in South Walton that you can’t possibly get to them all in one day! Fortunately, you don’t have to. There are a number of highly-rated resorts, inns, and other overnight options in the area. Are you considering a move to the South Walton area?
