Located about one to one and a half hours drive to Florida’s beautiful Gulf of Mexico beaches, Tallahassee offers many opportunities to enjoy life. To the South is the beautiful Gulf coast where you will find many state parks and seaside villages such as Apalachicola with great fishing, beaches and lots to do. Other adventures within a few hours’ drive are the Atlantic Coast, Orlando’s Theme Parks, Space Center and the famous Gulf Beach resorts of Santa Rosa Beach and Destin.

Our Tallahassee neighborhoods are surrounded by beautiful parks, canopied roads and vibrant shopping and entertainment centers. Many neighborhoods offer wonderful connectivity to the surrounding area outdoors by walking, biking or golf cart trails to nearby parks and recreation offering local organized or independent sports such as tennis, golf, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, dinning and community country clubs. Tallahassee is the home of internationally known Red Hills Horse Trials. Equestrians enjoy nice local livery and many equestrian properties are only fifteen to thirty minutes from the city.
